Hi, I’m Andrea. I help adults across Colorado work through past pain, navigate life transitions, and create meaningful change through online therapy. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to support you in reconnecting with the present — where real change happens. The past and future live only in our minds. The present is where we can actually take steps toward the life you want.
I began my career in the nonprofit sector, spending ten years focused on creating large-scale, systemic change. While that work was meaningful, I found myself increasingly drawn to individual stories and one-on-one connections — to sitting with people as they worked through life’s most personal challenges.
In 2013, I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Trauma and Crisis Response. Since then, I’ve spent the last 12+ years working in diverse clinical settings, including:
These experiences have allowed me to support people facing anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, family conflict, parenting challenges, and major life transitions — always with compassion, honesty, and respect for each person’s journey.
Clients often tell me they feel comfortable and at ease from the very first session. I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming — and that doing the work of self-reflection, changing unhealthy patterns, and creating lasting change takes both courage and support.
As your Colorado online therapist, I meet you where you are. Together, we’ll build a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and gently challenged. I offer clarity, direction, compassion, and encouragement while inviting you to explore new perspectives, habits, and behaviors at a pace that works for you.
I use a range of evidence-based therapy approaches, including:
These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to your individual needs — whether you’re seeking EMDR therapy in Colorado, anxiety counseling, or support for life transitions.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me outdoors, enjoying Colorado’s mountains in every season. I also enjoy a healthy amount of TV and movies — I’ve watched The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Super Troopers more times than I can count (and I’m not ashamed of it). I also enjoy reading, baking, cooking, gardening, spending time with my family and dogs, and taking mountain drives.
And while I live in Colorado now, I’m originally from Wisconsin — a proud Sconnie who still cheers for the Broncos but owns a Cheesehead. Go Pack Go!
*Please note: I am currently not providing therapy to Colorado licensed/certified healthcare and mental health professionals due to a potential conflict of interest.
